Firstly we talk about bows.
1.Recurved bow
The inverted bow is a kind of bow that looks different from the ordinary long bow in the side: the end of the arm of the inverted bow without the bowstring is bent outward. One of the special definitions points out that the difference between the inverted bow and other bows is that the bowstring of the inverted bow on the upper chord is in contact with its bow arm. Modern reverse bow is the mainstream equipment of modern archery. The well-known Olympic Games and various modern archery competitions (as well as many national archery sports in China), if not specifically put forward the "traditional bow" and "composite bow", in principle, are all participated with the inverted bow.
The curved bow arm will make the bow bear more tension and make more noise when shooting the arrow. If the degree of inflection is too high, it will make the bow unstable after being strung. Because the shape of the untwisted inverted bow is easy to confuse people who have little contact with it, they think that the bending direction before the chord should be the bending direction after the chord. Many Chinese people, including Native Americans, had their bows bent in the reverse direction, which caused the bow to be damaged during launching.
2.Compound bow
The biggest feature of the compound bow is the use of pulleys to achieve the effect of labor saving. Thus, a person with relatively low arm strength can use a bow with relatively large tension. At the same time, its complex and precise aiming system can greatly improve the shooting accuracy. Modern composite bow, in a sense, is equivalent to the "sniper weapon" in the bow, and is often used to hunt large animals in actual combat! In the case of hunting arrows, if you hit the effective part directly, sometimes you can send wild boar, antelope and large carnivores to the west in one blow. The composite bow is small in length and easy to carry in a box. However, it must take over. Can't be put in the waist bag.
